Asian dishes are incomplete without chillies, ginger and
garlic. We Indian like to add chilli sauce on everything, especially kids like
to have sweet chilli sauce on everything because it’s sweet not spicy. The
sweet and sour taste of the sauce depends on the brand and its ingredients.
Sweet chilli sauce can be used to dip egg rolls, mushroom tofu potstickers,
padokas, samosas and added to stir fries. This tastes amazing when added to pan
fried Brussels sprout or roasted Brussels sprout. This dressing is perfect when tried on fried
green tomatoes and fried green beans. Asian Sweet
Chilli Sauce is a combination of very mild red or yellow peppers and
just a few medium hot peppers. Now I am going to share with you the recipe of
Roasted Brussels sprout.
The ingredients are ½ kg Brussels sprout, stem trimmed and
halved, 4 garlic cloves finely minced, 3
tablespoons of cooking oil (mustard or olive oil), 4 garlic cloves finely
minced, 2 tablespoons of Thai fish sauce or soy sauce of your choice and 2
tablespoons of sweet chilli sauce. Add 3 tablespoons of cooking oil of your
choice in a pan and heat over medium-high heat. Fry the Brussels sprout until
brown. Turn the Brussels sprout and brown for two minutes longer, now add
garlic cloves finely minced and cook. Syndicate Sweet
Chilli Sauce and soy sauce in a separate pan, mix will and place over
Brussels sprout and low heat until heated through.
Heat the oven to 400F and on a baking sheet; toss the
Brussels sprouts in cooking oil to coat evenly. For at least 20 minutes, Roast Brussels
in the oven tossing them halfway so they cook evenly. Now, remove Brussels
sprouts from the oven. Move the oven rack positioned to the top third of the
oven and turn on oven broiler to high. In a medium sized bowl, mix together the
sauces
and other ingredients, and pour over the Brussels sprouts, tossing to coat
evenly. Broil the Brussels sprouts for five minutes or until the sauce is
bubbling. Watch carefully so they don't burn, and remove from the oven once
done. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Vegetarian noodle Salads,
chicken wings, Thai tofu cakes, broiled Salmon, and Thai style noodles and Stir
fries are awesome in taste when served with sauces and dips.
